Bought a cheap used 22re and the PO failed to tell me it had a blown headgasket and who knows what else. He claimed the motor had only 133k original miles but the pistons have 0.50 stamped into them. Does this indicate a bored over motor? Didn't think this was a factory thing.

Been rebuilt, the factory did not put in 20 over pistons. At this point you may a well pull it all the way apart and do a full inspection

X2 and ask for some $$ back.
