I picked up a rear Dana 60 yesterday out of a mid 70's 3/4 ton Ford. Pulled the cover off and the ring and pinion appear fine! There is some slight play in the axle shafts and spider gears, is this normal? Also the pinion bearing is feels rough. I searched for some links to axle parts breakdowns but didn't find much. Do you guys have some favorite sights for axle parts and parts breakdown lists?

Do you mean an exploded assembly view? If you need that just go to the library and look at one of the 1970's ford service manuals. I couldn't have done my 60 swap without that info. There are many different versions of the ford 60, so make sure you pick up the correct manual.
