Hello Everyone,
I am new to this board. I was hoping someone can help me out with a question. I have a 2000 4wd ls rodeo and it comes stock with 16x7 rims. Can i fit 15x8 Black rock crawlers on my rodeo? I have a 3.5" lift and would like to run 32x11.50x15's. I want to run 15x8 rims, but the 4Wheelparts rep told me i couldn't fit them because my calipers were too big. I would really like to stay away from a 16" rim and the metric tires which are both really expensive. TIA

I don't know for sure, but do you know anyone nearby with some 15x8's? best thing would be try some on. maybe a local 4x shop could help ya out. I doubt the 4WP rep has any actual experience with this, probably trying to avoid a complaint/liability.

I was told that I needed grind down the calipers a little bit to get the 15x8's to fit. Does anyone have any info on grinding down calipers and will that affect the functionality of the calipers? TIA

yes 15x8 will fit,15x6 was a factory offering.
4WP people are merely schooled idiot's.:shaking:
An example http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/505863 my wifes had 15x6 on it factory and now has 15x8's.
Oh and as per above,no grinding of calipers is needed.

The 98 and 99 Isuzu Rodeo came stock with the 15x6.5" rims, but I didn't know if the 2000+ switched to different calipers and 16" rims??? I will have to test fit the rims and hopefully, no grinding is needed...

those 15" rims fit my 2000 no problem, they were just ugly. Her 33's fit also, just couldn't turn the wheels, because my fenders were in the way.
The 98-01 1/2 rodeos are 99% the same.except for some a few things and It would be a long post with no bearing on this thread:D

I went from 16x7's to 15x8 U.S wheel chrome mod's on my 98 Amigo, and I have all kinds of room between the brakes and the wheel. I did end up trimming the fender back, waaaay back, after removing the factory flares. I cut the metal to 3/4" of the body line that meets the flare on the outside edge, and rolled the sheet metal back underneath to give the fenders and Q/panels some rigidity. I have 33'' Thornbirds with no lift. No power either, but these are a heavy tire compared to a 32" BFG. The 2.2 Four banger finally took a dump last week, so now I get to do my engine swap. HOORAY!
