i did and couldnt find anything i was looking for, i wanna mount the winch on the front of my truck but i really dont wanna buy a winch bumper. i have the winch mounting plate from warn and was wondering has anyone mounted to the front without a bumper? i dont wanna mount it in the reciever hitch either.

Yep, mines mounted to the front with no bumper. I've still got some more shots to be developed, but this might give you the idea.

i kindof have an idea on how i wanna do it i just wanted to know how people have done it before and how it holds up?? thanks for the pic TODD but i really couldnt tell how yours was done it was too dark.:D

Also, you could build one like Crash built for his truck and DSI's truck and just not add the "wings" on the sides.
