HF portable band saw any good?

I'm in the market for a hand held band saw and have that 20% off coupon from Harbor Freight.The price is nice but what about the saw?Have any of you gents put this through the paces?Any info would be great.Thanks

broke mine first use. the plastic drums suck. some of the teeth broke off in the drive drum and the 'pinion' gets to that spot and jsut spins, it cant grab any teeth to make the blade spin.

The drums are interchangeable, you can swap drums and be back in business.

Mine only broke teeth when I forced things.

It'll go on sale for as cheap as $57.49. From what I've seen of it, it's good for the price. It's light, which of course probably indicates lesser quality, but the light weight makes it very easy to handle. The one time I saw it used it cut great.

But I can't speak to longevity.
