this a good deal if I can grab it for 500? i'm thinking of beating the crap out of it on the trails, how much do they suck stock? will I be twistin' axles and blowing up diffs?

Weld the diff's and tear it up! Only bad thing is it's carb'ed

It's worth the $500 just check the frame for rust if you plan on keeping it. If it's rusted wheel it till it breaks in half.:D

get it! u will break more jeep axles then a toy ever will. put some 33"s on it weld up the rear and locright the front and u will walk over all stock jeeps, ect. best stocker around. very cheap to build, and almost and toy 4x is worth $2500

Like they said, check for rust on the frame. I picked up an 84 last week for $500, but I found out today that the inside part of the frame rails are almost rusted through right where the rear springs mount to the frame. I knew I was taking that chance when I bought it, but I figured I can still part it out and use the parts on my next project.

i can't go into detail, but it was a REAL bad loan

dude buy it even if you dont wheel iot you could turn a few bucks parting out, motor, axles, t-case, tranny, body parts- im sure you could at least double your money

buy it and part it out, or sell it on to make cash, you should be able to double your money on it easy.
