Was watching the Discovery channel show weird about wheels and some dude in Barston, Ca is making a suspension that climbs rocks at speed with ease, a anti-gravity suspension and though it might be a neat idea for a crawler as we like rocks and he could lift the rear tire with one hand....anyone else see this? He is some sort of Junkyard Artsi Fartsi type that makes Stagecoach vehicle and covered wagon vehicle...want to find more information about this vehilce.....

The guy's name is Greg (forgot the last name) and he's in Barstow, CA, not Barston... If you drive through the area you are more than welcome to stop in and take a look at his creations. If he is around he'll show this suspension idea thats been collecting dust for the last few years. I drop by every time I drive through the area.
Greg claims that this suspension can handle rocks that are taller than half the diameter of the tire at high speeds. The whole setup is very creative and wierd. He said that he was going to use tank hand controls for steering. The suspension consists of a torsion bar type system that I didn't understand when I was there.
Greg owns the AAA highway towing company out there in Barstow, and when hes not busy towing he says that hes busy messing around and building the strange creations that coyote mentioned.
Some of these creations include: a monster truck school bus, a covered wagon on 42" swampers, a station wagon on tank treads with a revolving turret on top, etc, etc...
You should take the time to stop by!!
