Im tryin to find coil over shocks for my mud buggy and havent found much luck finding anything on the internet. Everything Ive found was cheap little ones with 3 inchs of compression or $300 quad shocks I need somthing in between. Not to fancy just needs to have more then 3 inchs of compression. So any help would be great.

Ditto on the Sway-a-ways from Avalanche. I had a friend that did a lot of research on coilovers before he bought his and Avalnche was one of the best places to pick them up at.

Have you thought of using just regular aerostar coils with limiting straps? You can rig up all kinds of stuff with junkyard coils. You can always look into the Heavy duty shocks with a overload coil spring on the outside on the shock.....
neither one of these sites has them listed but both are top of the line suppliers to the off road racing crowd and will have what ever setup you are looking for. give them a call

Look at the products then page 26 to 33 and they list coil over shocks. But looks like you need to call for prices.

look at the "dealers" page at the say-a-way website.
you'll find there lots of good sources according to the use of the vehicle. some of the dealers give good prices if you squeese them a bit.
So what is the price on entry level dual rate coilovers?
I think Bob Roggy quoted me around $400 each a while back - that sound about right?

Look at a stock car racing place like Coleman. The cheapest coilover shocks you can get are the largebody monroes it is about 50 bones for the shock 40 for the coilover kit and 50 for a spring. They make 7 and 9 in travel in that shock. Look at the colege "mini baja" competition. They build little buggies that use your "$300 quad shocks". but they get sponsored and sometimes some of the schools will have old ones for sale pretty cheap.

good deal????
if you get it for 400$ it's the full price, even for a 2.5"x18"
dual rate shock with a 16"coil & an 18"coil.
a GOOD price would be 20% less.
