: TJ Speedometer will not work

I just finished a shortened mainshaft in a NP 231 on a buddies 97 Tj. The speedometer worked before but not now. We indexed the speedometer gear when we removed and re installed, but nothing. What gives?

unplug it and plug it back in. Sounds like the electrical connections suck. :D
