Ok, my goal is to put a Rodeo rear Dana 44 in my Ranger.

I have one question:

How would I go about hooking the driveshaft up? The factory 8.8 has a different type of hookup. How would I hook up my stock driveshaft to the Dana 44?

I know this question probably sounds stupid, but I really need some help!

Thanks!
Danny

Take it to a driveshaft shop and have them put the correct yoke or flange on the end of the driveshaft connecting to your d44.

Jessie at HIGH Angle driveline should have a flange yoke for your D44

Does anyone know where I can buy a new flange or yoke? I'm pretty sure me and a buddy of mine could install it.

or if that's too expensive, just connect the stock thing to the axle and the stock thing to the t-case and pick a spot on the tube where the 2 tubes overlap, and cut them both off there, and have a machine shop make an adapter ring to center them both to each other for welding. :p :smokin:

you wouldn't believe what I had to go through to mount a spicer cv and a chevy cv on my stock samurai driveshaft, and I had to make an adapter to bolt the cv on the pinion, and a custom adapter ring to bolt the spicer cv on the samurai flange. I should call my truck 'well adapted'. lol.
