put 52" in the front of my k30 .i kill a set of stock springs everytrip out and am sick of swapping them.(plus there isn't a set left for miles around here, I've picked everyone clean!!!! )i was thinking about calling deaver but i imagine custom springs are through the roof$$$$. anybody running lift springs, and how do they flex? with stock springs I only have about 3 inches of compression, but 16-18 inches of droop. I'm looking for a little more compression and height . anybody

How are you killing them? Are you running bump stops to prevent negative arch?

if you are asking about stock length front lift springs, the softest rate for cheap springs is Tuff Country EZ rides.
how are you killing your current springs every trip, by breaking the main leaf?

I was trying and killing rancho, skyjackers and rear 52's also. Now I run a set of rear Ford 3" wide 57" long springs. They are the only things I haven't ruined in the front. I think the 3" wide springs are why they last so long. They still flex as well as the chevy rear springs I was using but don't bend and go flat.
Search my name and Ford springs and you should be able to alot including my writeup.
You should realy put some bumpstops in...

big yellow, i'm asking about 52" rear springs that im using in the front of mine. Rcurrier, i'm on top of that bumpstop thing. I really need to build something to limit up travel any ways cause my tie rod is in the rear and i wacks the oil pan from time to time. What app. did you get those ford springs from?I might try a set of them. maybe deaver is my best option though

Just so you have an idea about pricing on customs springs, my front springs are custom built Alcans. They were built using this model: a 47" Chevy leaf, adding 3" after the center pin, giving a 1.5" offset, built for 4" of lift, very soft, so soft they ended up as 52" at ride height. The cost was $180 a pack. $$$, but not nearly as much as I thought when I first emailed for a quote.
