I have one bearing cap bolt that doesn't tighten up all the way because the threads in the housing are stripped out...I know there must be some way to fix this other than replacing my whole housing...???

Shouldn't be too hard to install a Heli-coil. ask at your local auto parts store. The whole kit should be about $40.

Jam a tooth pick in the hole then thread the bolt in:flipoff2:

Helicoil or Keensert...

how bad is it? get the correct size tap and try to clean em up first.... then if that dont fix it, heli coil should do the trick

Is it a front? If it is then that housing is junk I will haul it off for you.

Serriously if it is a rear fullwidth it might be cheaper to replace the housing than helicoil it, but the helicoil should be fine.
