ok guys, back up lamps are not coming on, my fuse panel is so wore out I can't read it to see where the fuse is located. anyone tell me which fuse it is???? the book doesn't show a good picture of it. also I installed some back up fog lamps. in the process of wiggling and giggling wires and throwing the tranny in and out of gear they finally came on only to go out and never to return. this leads me to believe it is the switch on top of the tranny. Manual 4spd. 82 chevy K10. Any ideas??? Patrick

yeah, I had the same problem. Its the switch on the tranny. It takes a large metric socket to get it out. I think its like 22mm but don't quote me on that.

i figured it out, i turned the key on and put it in reverse. unplugged from tranny and tested to see the voltage then relayed it with a wire to see the lights light up. they did so this tells me the switch is bad on the tranny. thanks for all the help guys!!!!
