have two buddies with them. Both love them, one blew his motor due to what was said to be dirt bypassing the airbox or something to that nature. The bikes are powerful and work great with only exhaust and jetting. Both have made suspension mods for their weight and said it made a drastic difference in handling. Great bikes though i wish i had the money to get one for myself

I ride with a guy that has one.... he likes his CR500 better for singletrack. He says the 450 just revs to fast and stalls to easy...

What part of Az you from?

I rode one that has a REVLOC automatic clutch on it, what a blast. No stalling, easier to go faster because you just forget about the clutch.

My boss has one and he loves it with the exception that he has bent the sub-frame 2 times now with very easy bails. He runs exhaust and worked the jetting. He only weights 160 and the bike is more designed for a 200 lb rider. I rode it one time and said never again!

i've heard somethings about those revlocs not being very well accepted on two strokes and are only really sweet for four strokes? anybody heard about this?

Also on my cr500 ive had some easy falls to myself that have tore the bike apart so it all depends, falling on the subframe directly is kinda difficult so i dont know in his situation.

Also after riding over spring break on a couple 4 stroke si have to say they are alot easier to ride then a two stroke much more controlled. Before this weekend i had only done short rides on them. If i still didnt race amatuer motocross i'd buy one they cant be beat on the trails once you get used to it. The crf i think is a good buy and for me it would be between the crf and the drz for all around riding with no track.

I cant see why you would not want one on a 2 stroke. The thing just plain works. They have a KX 500 test mule that has 1500 hours on it to test the reliability. If i had the JING to buy one it would be here next day air. I would compare it to my scotts steering damper as something i would not do without ever again but until i have the $$$ ?
