So after a friend and I did this huge burnout in my 2000 pathfinder a couple of days later the rearend started to make a clunk sound when I would get on or off the gas at highway speed. I called Nissan and they told me about a recall that had to do with the rear links being defective but my car was not included. Could this be the case or could it be something else (i.e. spider gears or ring and pinion). I want to get new bushing for the rear links but again Nissan told me I had to buy all new links I can't just get teh bushings. What do you think could be making the sound.

oxy torch will get the old ones out. you may have to press the new ones in, not sure if you can grease them enough to just push them in by hand.
