I am really confused. After a week of researching/searching various threads about disc/disc brake configurations, I thought I had it figured out. What brake booster has anyone used with a 72 Corvette MC that was a direct replacement for the CJ brackets/bellcrank assy?
I have an 83 CJ7 with stock front discs (Dana 30) and a SSBC disc conversion kit on my AMC20. Installed 72 Vette power master cylinder and removed the o-ring from the prop. valve-system bled and will stop but not lock up. I thought a 94 S10 booster would work but I bought one and the pushrod (from pedal) to booster is about 3.5" too long. So is it best to fab new brackets and direct mount or what?
