i couldnt remember exactly where the oil pressure switch was but on a 94-01 v8 gas engine, the switch is on the driver side backside of the block right?
On the air-fuel gauge.... im supposed to tie into the signal switch wire... anyone ever done this on these dodges could gimme the correct wire to tie into?
thanks.

I believe that you will need to hook the A/F meter signal input wire up to the black wire on the o2 sensor. You should be able to take a volt meter and test that wire on the o2 sensor to make sure it is correct. If that is the correct wire, you will see the voltage flucuating between approximately .1v and .9v.
I'm not sure on the oil pressure sender, but I think my old truck ('93 dodge) had the sender on the passenger side of the block. It has been a long time since I have looked for the sender though.
The only question I have to ask is why bother with the A/F meter? It really isn't going to do any good for you except look "cool" unless you have a blower or something like that on the truck.
Just my $.02

the a/f meter was initially for looks, i had a triple piller pod and had bought a tranny temp, and oil press gauge, basically the 2 gauges i really needed so i had bought the a/f just for looks, now im in the process of tryin to pick up a second hand ATI charger...so i figuared id go ahead and try and hook it up.
The oil press sender was driver side back of block....

Ignore the A/F guage. They are narroe band and are next to useless for providing any useful info. A wideband guage and O2 sensor are the way to go, but they run in the $200 range.

Very true, however they are better than nothing if you have an actual need for an A/F meter. Just my $.02

Personally I don't think I'd tap in to the stock wiring. I'd weld a bung in the exhaust and run a seperate 02 sensor for the gauge. You don't want to be messing with the signals that the computer is looking at, could cause you alot of trouble.
