How many street legal 03's have you seen running around town?? The plate brings a little more to the price.

I have the LED under fender still and the headlight I think. The stator was never set up to run the lights. I was using a small battery to power everything but the bike is not set up to run the lights now. The bike is dual reg meaning it has a current green sticker and a non oped license plate. Thanks Ben

a 250 2 stoke race bike would make a horrible road bike.
and yours isent legal anyway?
ive never seen a race bike converted to road use....for good reason.

Hey yoda. Have you heard of the motard scene?? These bikes are not about being practicle its about having fun. I have a race KTM converted to motard and it is the most fun I have had on the street. I sold my busa because it just wasn't getting any use. Also a street legal motorcrosser opens up your riding areas as being a street vehicle it can go a lot of places OHV's can't. So relax a little, maybe someone else will want to check out the dark side and see how much fun it can be to make the sport bikes look silly in the twisties. :flipoff2:

theres nothing you could do to a motocross bike to make it faster then a sport bike in the twistys....a gsxr would shit all over a rm250 for instance...even set up for road use.

but i dont want to hijack your thread, even though it brings it to the top for ya lol sorry.

You really dont know shit ..... do you :shaking:

I have a CR500 thats street legal (yes it sucks as trasporation) even with full knobbies it will run-away-and -hide from real street bikes.......on real tight and twisty roads.

With small street tires and speeds under 80mph AND good turns theres nuthing that can touch a Motard bike

........... I'm taliking about the 4 corners area of Highway 35 in San Mateo county in Ca :p

edit: .............. kinda sorry for the hijack but its just us 3 anyways :)

i've seen a few motards that will walk away from sport bikes in the twistys, motard riders were still learning, sport bike guys were good riders they all have gone to many track days

Why not dual sport a 2-stroke motocrosser? They are light, cheap, fun, and haul a$$. Who wouldn't want to ride their dirtbike down the street, or to the riding area without being pulled over?

you sir are a complete retard.

Do you own a sport bike? Have you ridden a motard of any sort. I've been building riding racing every kind of motorcycle since I was 4 years old.

A 250 2 stroke motard will make a sport bike look foolish in a "tight" set of twisties. If there's 100 mph straight aways or if you're thinking twisties that aren't very twisty then the sport bike will do well.

Why the hell would you even talk in this thread anyways. Bashing a sale price is against the rules anyways.

The fact that this bike has a cali (yea california the land of nothing is legal) plate makes is 10x more valuable. Your simpleminded ass doesn't grasp that concept for one reason or another....basically there's probably 50 street legal 2 stroke mx bikes in all of california. That makes it a rare item. Rare things are often valuable.

No you're not going to cruise down main street smooth like a street bike, but if you're out to do bad things on it like backing turns and hanging wheelies in powerband from turn to turn then this thing is the right ride.

3200 is a good price for this bike. If it was all pimped out with motard tires, wheels, big brakes, fresh plastic and a street legal kit I know people that would pay 7-8k for it.
