Any pics of rigs running 35's out there?
just curious what gears you are running with them.

My Son has a GRSII with 5.12's and runs Goodyear MTR's 35's

I am going with the 35's as soon as I install the 6.1 t-case and keep my 5.12's.
That 6.1 in high range is about the same as the GRSII, but will be way better offroad..

So if i run 35's with my Twincam engine, stock gears, rocklobster t-case, and toy driveshaft, what type of problems might i be looking at? What will be the weak point?
I'm looking to get 5.13's soon.

Heres a pic of the sammy that we built for mud bogging. It has a 283 chev sm block, th350 tranny and stock t case and axles. The only thing we have done to the axles is install spidertrax birfield rings and re-seal the front end also, the spider gears have been welded f and r. The truck now has 35x 14.5 swamper SSRs on 15x14 chrome mods. It weighs 3000lbs exactly and kicks major arse in the under 36 class around here. BTW it is consistenly run at 6500rpm plus in the mud, these axles have taken it for one race season but d-44s are probably in its future along with a chain drive replacing the tcase.

Go for toy axles and 5.29s and you'll be safe.

Ive never broken a birf in this setup. the tires are only 16/35/15 , I also do way more mud boggin than rock crawlin. When i put the 38 sx's or 40" tsl's under i will probly buy the birfeild eliminator kit.

We got 35's on one of our Zuks. It runs 5.38 gears and a 4.16 tcase. Pretty awesome setup. I'm still looking forward to a Klune one day though.

Picture of ours is to the left.

I hope we are not talking stock axles?
35's, forget it. You have to run toy or 44's to run anything bigger than a 34. Unless its a show truck.
