Well is nots mine but one of my best buddies. He has been out of wheelin for a long time and now finally is back in it. We picked it up from rockslut scout on the board. The body is in pretty rough shape but has a some pretty nice parts on it. The rig needs to be street legal and he plans to drive it to the trail(no tow rig.). He is some quick specs:
71 Scout 2
400 sbc
TH350
NP203
8 lug 44/warn 4340's/CTM's/4.11/Detroit locker
FF 14 bolt shaved/4.11's/detroit locker
SOA waggie fronts/scout rears
36" TSL's on steelies
Hard top and doors
Full family cage
Cd player/cb
We have lots of plans to get the rig dialed in and ready to wheel. I am just stoked a good friend is back to play!

Well kinda...most of the expensive parts are done. But alot of things we plan to redo. Things like relocated the motor back a few inches/ new t case crossmember/shock mounts/hi steer/etc. Its going to be a good experience for him to do a feww things to it.

Hey what's up all...Yea... I'm the one who bought the o'l Scout off of Mike...he's a real cool guy. I promise this rig will be taken care of...with new modifications on the way. It's been a real long time since I've been wheel'n and I can't wait to get back on the trails. Hell...I'm just stoked having a 4X4 again. Maybe I'll beable to meet you guys on the trails someday and BS over some brews.

looks like my old girl is in good hands. brought a tear to my eye seeing her in some one else's garage. let me know when you guys go up this summer and i will meet up with ya ,have fun building it up, it sure brought lots of fun times to our family

Yeah Mike she is in good hands! Hey this sucker drives sweet and the brakes kick ass as well. We are planning a few things for her. First is a new soft top.
next I think were going to get the doubler going. We will get together for sure this summer. Jon is really happy with the rig ...thanks again!
