Some slight discoluring of the oil from anti rust treatment on the gears is normal( where used). Some slight noise when the gears bed in is normal and will go away. Metal shavings reflect a problem. Did you fit new quality bearings? are they on straight ? Is there anything wrong with the case that would cause misalignment? Gozuki 10-12-2001, 08:20 PM Yeah what RH said.
