I am trying to find out the size fittings that I need to get to make my own fuel line out of stainless steel. I have a 89 Fourrunner with the V-6 engine.

I already tried all the auto shops in my area to fit into my fuel filter. All of them only carry SAE fittings not metric, one had some but were too small to fit mine. The fittings I need to know are the ones that goes into the filter on both side and the other ends of the hard lines from the filter on both sides.

I know that I could get the old one off and send them to Classic Tube and they will match them, but the problem I have is I do not have them anymore, since I put on a SAE filter with a adapter to fit on my lines at the tank and the hose near the engine with two size tubings to make it fit. I know that is not the way to do it, but It was just a temperary fix to get my truck running until I get the correct setup.

Thanks and a  for any imputs from any of you.

I would suggest another toyota line
I bought one for a 88 xtra cab
from the front to the back was only like 42 bucks
i figure if it last half as long as the first , the truck will be junk by then anyway

I know that it only costs about 40 bucks for thise lines, but I want it in stainless steel. Also I have the 3 inches drivetrain lift alomg with the tank raised. Therefore the stock lines will have to be bent differently anyway. There must be someone on this board that has one and can measure it to let me know or have the sizes locked in the back of his/her brain!
