: Clocking NP231?

Got an np231 and it need to clock it. How do I go about doing this properly?

I used a D300 clocking ring. You can use 5/6 holes to clock a 231 up, or 6/6 to clock it down if you have really bad front shaft angles. Great lake Offroad offers a ring and so does Go2guy. You dont need the expensive AA ring, the thinner rings are fine, and no spud shaft.

I was told it was just bolts.
I'll give you some background on what I'm doing.

I've got an AX15 and 231 case out of a 94 YJ and I'm putting it in my 94 ZJ (grand Cherokee). I was told I'd have to move the bolts in order to maintain the location for my ZJ since the case hangs lower on the YJs.
