Are the spindles and axle shafts the same for a Dana 44 and a 10 bolt front end? I need some parts for a Dana 44 out of a 73' 3/4 ton and saw some on ebay that say they fit a Dana 44 or 10 bolt but are out of an 88' Blazer 10 bolt? Will they work?

short answer yes, BUT
depends on what D44 3/4 ton you are talking about. If it has the hubs that require external hubs then no 10 bolts stub shafts will not work. If it is a D44 3/4 ton that has the internal hubs (same hubs that fit a D44 1/2 ton and a 10 bolt) Then yes the 10 bolt stubs will interchange with the D44 along with everything the outside the knuckle.

Not exactly sure what the difference is b/t external and internal hubs?? The one I have has locking hubs (I would consider external) that bolt on with large allen head bolts, then there is the hub and brake rotor containing the wheel bearings and nuts that hold it to the spindle. The axle also has 8 lug bolt pattern.
