305 EFI to another 305 [Archive]

I have searched and found so much that I couldnt sort it all out and The 2 hours I spent reading I found nothing.

My question is....What all do I need to turn my chevy 305(1979) to EFI. A friend of mine has a sick 305 with EFI on it from a chevy truck...89 I think..is this switch possible?

What all would I need.

If this is not possible what would I need to do it some other way and How much cash flow are we talking.

Sorry Im not a engine guru...Im learning.

The TBI intake won't bolt directly to your '79 heads. The 4 center intake bolts are at a different angle but you can elongate the holes on the intake to make it fit.
