Alright I have the adapter plates for the bell housing and t case but what about my shifter, its going into a 92 YJ. Everyone I know has no Idea what I should do. I have seen TJs using the stock shifter. could I use the dodge shifting mech. then weld my shifter from the ax 15 on it or do I use the dodge shifter? This is the only thing keeping me from finishing it. so any advice would be helpful.

AA sells a shifter, but that is for the Chevy style shift tower(screw in). The shift tower on the Mopar unit I have in the garage uses the same square style shifter as your YJ's They are a bitch to remove and the dealer is suppost to have a special tool to get it off with, but it dosn't work.
What type shift tower do you have on yours? Where did the NV-4500 come from?

So, I don't understand your problem,.......do you have the shifter stub?

Mine's chopped down, then rotated a little towards my knee to give some more clearance for my twin sticks.
The stick is in 3rd in the pic. It's really comfortable, and suits me better than the aftermarket AA straight shortie stick.

I am getting the 4500 from AA (23 spline), should I get the shifter from a dodge or is there a way to mount my YJ stick to it.

AA uses a Chevy style tower. They also sell the shifter. (straight threaded shifter) You can use your YJ's shifter if you get the Dodge style tower, and if you can get your old shifter off your AX-15's tower. If you want to keep your YJ's shifter, I would be happy to trade you my Dodge tower for your Chevy one. They are simple to remove, just pull the rubber seal off and 1/4 turn the spring plate with your fingers. Jaffers looks like the Dodge style.
Yeah I will trade with you, give me a call at 303 667 1168 my name is Grant.
