i'm having a slight problem with u-joints lately, i bought my jeep in oct. of '04, after a year i had to replace both u-joints in the rear drive shaft. no big deal. and now about 4 months later i think i have a bad one again. i put dana spicer joints in it. the drive train in the jeep is stock for now, so why am i having this problem. i am hard on the jeep but i did not think those joints would fail that fast. am i doing something wrong? thanks

it's a 2000 Jeep wrangler 4.0, nv3550 trans, np231 transfer case. dana 30 front and dana 35 c-clip rear

stock drivetrain? need more info.

If you're talking CJ with a 360, then it could be that when you're hammering it, you're binding your joints because of spring wrap.

how much lift we talking and what vehicle? a steep angle will chew up ujoints in a hurry.
