has anybody ever built a doubler setup on a zf trans . im guessing that a ford 203 range box should bolt up to a 4x4 zf trans from what ive found . the only other thing would be to get a typical 203 to 205 doubler adapter. not sure on the length ill have to do some checking in my parts pile for measurements. let me know if anyone has tried this or thought about it.

I have thought about it having a ZF. The ZF has the typical 6 bolt pattern a 203 can have. So it is very doable.
I am going another route though. I want a Klune V Goliath. I priced one down as low as $1700. A Klune V Goliath, with ZF and NP205 would give great gearing, only be about 7" longer than stock, and weigh much less.
I figure at Around $700 to get a good 203 and doubler kit and then the 203 may need a rebuild.
