: IH Wheelin' T-shirts ~ Photo Search
Snoopy 02-11-2006, 01:25 PM Lets keep it simple. I need some pictures for some new IH t-shirts. If you can think of a quote for a particular picture, please submit those as well. You must be able to furnish the picture for scanning/artwork. You must own the picture. If the picture is of a rig that does not belong to you, please help by finding who's rig it is so I can get their approval.
Rules,
Must not be blury
Must have at least 33" tires
SHOULD be an action/wheeling shot (driveway shots are ok if its something we can delete out in artwork)
Must be a t-shirt worthy scout. Meaning nice, not exactly perfect, but no mis-matched rims, rusty old driveway picture, etc.
No pickups, travelalls, travelettes or the like, just Scouts and Scout IIs (this time).
As I am putting this up, I should be the first to attempt a submission: Here's Rover/Scout doin' indy...I think it'd make a good Scout wheelin' t-shirt

Alright folks, whatcha got?
Snoopy 02-11-2006, 01:32 PM How about this picture (cleaned up):
http://www.dandcextreme.com/upload/ChadRoll1.jpg
as the "I" in IH's logo ~ So, you'd have a huge IH logo on the back of a t-shirt, and instead of an 'I', you get this picture super-imposed on it?
That way I can keep myself out of court as it won't be an exact douplicate of the IH logo. ;) :grinpimp:
bassdude 02-11-2006, 02:36 PM probably not shirt worthy but what the heck

Snoopy 02-14-2006, 07:29 PM You know, I think it'd be real sweet to have a t-shirt that is nothing but Scuggy's. We can put Rueben's, JoshC, Rusty, Slipcombs and whom ever else has one. The caption could be "Built to a higher level" or "More than just passionate for IH" or something like that.
I've got to many ideas from these pictures. But keep them coming!

Snoopy 11-06-2006, 04:26 PM Alrighty folks. Talk about diggin' up an old thread ~ but here's the deal. My artwork/t-shirt guy just came back from dropping off the face of the earth and we're now making final selections on photos. Some of you have gotten emails/PMs from me regarding this.
I want to give an opertunaty to everyone to post new pictures up that you'd like to see on t-shirts. The goal is to get artwork into the screenprinter by ThanksGiving. This is not a joke. If you've got something, share it. If I want to use it, I'll PM you for your consent.
PLEASE NOTE: I'm sending a TON of t-shirt worth pictures to artwork. I want all of them to be on a t-shirt but budget and common sence dictates that not all of the photos submitted will actually get on a t-shirt. Please realize that just because I've contacted you about your photos, doesn't mean its going to make the final cut ~ it just means that I want it to be.
Snoopy 11-06-2006, 05:32 PM I just posted a poll about t-shirt sizes, please take a look and vote here

Snoopy 11-07-2006, 09:01 PM Diggin it Rueben, I've got a T-shirt in the works that will have nothing but Scuggies in it. Is there any other pictures/ablums that I can browse through of the Scuggy?
Snoopy 11-07-2006, 09:14 PM Ok, I showed this to the BB crowd, thought I'd share it here too. This is the first design, hand drawn by my artist (Chris) as a fun design...

He was going to go with simple back/white. Should be rocking. Not exactly my style ~ but I'd still wear one.
Snoopy 11-09-2006, 01:29 PM http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y210/ih4ever/P1010038.jpg
Well, as you all may agree, this is a t-shirt waiting to happen. I need to contact ih4ever and see if I can get a BIGGER picture (higher resolution). The bigger, the better as the t-shirt will come out more photo-like. Otherwise my artman will turn it into a nice realistic drawing (don't worry, its still going to look kick butt) but I'd like to get a bigger picture of this. If anyone has a bigger version, please send it to me. I'd like to get this by the weekend so the artwork can be done by Monday.
Thanks
Damian
scout254 11-09-2006, 07:03 PM Snoop,

Snoopy 11-09-2006, 11:10 PM Got it ~ you are the MAN. Sending it out to the art guy to see what he comes up with.
Thanks
Snoopy 11-09-2006, 11:29 PM Alright, I've posted a new thread on two t-shirts that are being sent to get artwork done and wanted to get peoples thoughts on the 'verbage' on the shirt. Meaning, take a look on this thread: http://www.binderbulletin.org/forums/showthread.php?t=60721 (see post #18 & 19)
And let me know what catchy phrase should be worked into the shirt's graphics.

binderbasher 11-14-2006, 01:04 PM Enough talk lets see something finished!!!! If they are cool I will even buy one or four.
Snoopy 11-14-2006, 03:14 PM Well, I appericiate your enthusiasm, but making nice t-shirts isn't as easy as it may seem. A bunch of artwork was sent to the graphic designer late last week. He's got a few ideas going on. There are a couple stages that will take a little while.
Stage One: Initial Artwork and sketch. ETA: 1-week
Stage Two: Final drawing and color ETA: 1-2 weeks
Stage Three: ScreenPrinting ETA: 2-week
Here is the first t-shirt I'm going to be putting out. This is in the begining stage one. I've pretty much approved this design and we're going to Stage Two now. There are a few tweeks to be done, but you get the idea.
After this t-shirt is in production I'll go on with my "IH-Logo" Shirt. Then I'll probably do the "Scout Pack" Shirt. Then, the plan is to make a "Scout II" shirt [featuring built scout IIs] and a "80/800" shirt [featuring offroading 80/800s ~ MochaMike may be hearing from me]. There will also be a "Projects" Shirt [featuring D&Cs Extreme Buildup Scouts] in the future. But as you can see, we're talking 1 month per shirt ~ so things may be a while since I"ve got to fund the project on my lonesome.
Unfortunately the Scuggy T-shirt is most likely going to be scrapped since I've only got two scuggies to work with (mine and JoshCs) ~ other scuggy owners are working on their own t-shirts and didn't want duplicate art on different t's.
Buck Dodson 11-14-2006, 11:49 PM Lots of wild colors:D
nooblet 11-15-2006, 12:44 AM I'm diggin it.
Chris
NVScouter 11-15-2006, 08:18 AM I like your artists ability. But 2 things:
The 70's color scheme doesnt do anything for me, and neither does the Ratfink scheme. Durring Hot August Nights here every custom shop has that crap on a T-shirt. Very :rainbow: maybe its just because I see so much of it here in durring all the vehicle events.
Just some nice wheeling pics/artwork is what I'd up to buy. With very modified Scouts.

Snoopy 11-15-2006, 12:29 PM That 'Wild' has 37s, RockCrusher D60s front and back, custom 2.5" wide/2" lift springs SOA w/ RS, LTSS, gears, lockers, Ram assist, cage, rock armor, winch ~ etc. Its about as wild as most guys get. In fact, I'd say its probably better built than most of the guys here ~ including me.
Snoopy 11-15-2006, 12:30 PM Thanks HOS ~ I can definately use some of those pics.

Sugar Bear 11-29-2006, 09:41 PM Well it's not a wheeling pic but I'd buy a shirt with this picture on it in a heartbeat... if you could get the guy off of the tire! Maybe photoshop it on top of a squashed Jeep, Chevy and ford
k7mto 11-29-2006, 09:49 PM Does a Jeep on Scout axles count? :D
Sand73 11-29-2006, 10:14 PM Count as what? :D
Snoopy 11-30-2006, 08:40 AM That moster truck is a photochop ~ it's real, but its a scout II model on a mostertruck model frame and axles. The guy was photochop'd on it
Mechanos 11-30-2006, 08:55 AM Not to mention that the caption on that monster truck pic is just plain fawkin' gay!!

Where's the "Wild"?... I see the mild, and I see a lifted truck, I don't see any "wild" in that pic.
Yea, Like where is the rear steer?
:flipoff2:
Snoopy 12-02-2006, 07:21 PM You didn't post any pics up, so I didn't use your rig! ;)
mopar800b 12-30-2006, 07:08 PM Am I too late to play?
mopar800b 12-30-2006, 07:19 PM Found these too.
Snoopy 01-03-2007, 10:53 AM Not to late, in fact, the Scout 800 t-shirts are next. Looking good. Great wheeling shots
