Looking at adding the Ride-rites to my 94 2500 CTD. The instructions show the upper bracket mounting to the outside frame rail, right where my B&W Turnover ball hitch is. Anyone run across this? What did you do about it? Different Air bag? Mod the Air bag bracket?

Yep, I had to notch out the flat part of the mounting plate on the air bag bracket. I can take a pic if it would help.

Here is a pic with the flash. I can take one in the daylight if needed.

Thanks for the pic. Weird, that bracket doesn't look anything like the one in the PDF file from the Ride-rite site. The kit the application chart called for was a 2220. Do you know what number yours was? If what I actually get is like yours, I'll just do what you did, and call it good.

You've got a Ford don't you? I've done tons of these things. I weld the airbag bracket to the gooseneck side plate most of the time. I've never had a problem, and it will still all come out of the truck if needed. The Fords are the easiest to add air bags to with gooseneck already in them. Actually, I think the Fords are the easiest to work on period. Ride Rite now has a kit for the late model Fords that bolts under the frame to use with air bag kits. And B&W now makes gooseneck hitches to fit with air bag kits.
