What do you guys know about em? Anywhere in central cali where I could hook one up for a buddy? He's goin 50's stlye even though they aren't that strong, does't really matter just goin for the nostalgic look and I hear people who end up with these ditch em pretty fast for real axles.

There's a place in Tuscon called Willys Works. They'd be the first place I'd try. The owner is really cool, I drove my '51 Wagon down there to check out the place and buy some stuff. We left Phoenix at 10am and finally showed up at 4:30, the joys of a 50 year old truck. Anyway he stayed late just to bullshit with us and gave me killer deals on some hard to find parts. As for the merits of the Timken rearend..... it's not my money. I broke a shaft on my '51's Dana 44 and couldn't find a replacement and they are a lot more common. Good Luck
