Ooop's I just saw the answer... I was correct.
SeanP 04-01-2002, 11:42 PM If you are selling that detroit and it is in good condition and would fit my low pinion 3RD member (not sure if the HP and LP are different), I'd consider taking that off your hands for a fair price. PM me if you want.

The Fleckster 04-02-2002, 12:11 AM Yea some specs and price, dealer where ya got it etc on the RAM would be nice. Seems like a nice looking piece.:smokin:

High5 04-02-2002, 02:49 AM the good ol' currie high 9".
wngrog 04-02-2002, 03:32 AM Yeah, I think that it is important to point out that it is a 8.8 ring gear in a Currie HP "9" differential.
I don't think they are designed for the shit you put them through.
At some point you realize you are going to have to cut your losses and get a D60.
I was just like you with my old Toyota axle...I bought every indestructable Birfield and locker I could.....
Finally lost my ass one too many times and cut the cord.

CJ,
He is looking for a stock steel one that needs work(some dents, etc) It will be for his wheeler so it will get dented anyway.... We have a number for Seachrist salvage near 51/70(I think) that someone on the board gave us. They are supposed to have some.. Keep your eyes open if ya see one in one of your local j-yards, if you dont mind.. Thanks..
