A place called Bill's Tires in Pacheco, Calif., 925-689-2678 is selling Michelin 9.00R16 XZLs new at $165 each. 36.5" od, 10.3" wide on 6.5" rims, load rating 3750 lb @ 65 psi, 4240 lb @ 80 psi. Quieter and longer running than XLs, still pretty aggressive open mud tread. That's an unbeatable price.

wow, that is an awesome price for those tires. I heard they hook up on the rocks as well as anything out there. I was looking for a set about a year ago but couldn't find them for under 400 a pop.

Michelin's website apparently lists a top speed of 62 mph. Is this so? Got any pics of this size mounted on a rig?

top speed would not be limited in my opinion to 62 simply because those tires could each support the weight of most rock crawlers so with 4 of them they wouldn't even know they were on you vehicle and wouldn't get hot or deform which is i believe the reason for most high speed blowouts

"If Interco put speed ratings on Swampers, nobody would buy them".
With the XZLs, if you want to run them at 75, add 10 psi. That's what I do with my XLs and XMLs.
