Strength over stock, should clear-up any nasty driveline angles and clearance baby. :D I'm pleased with it. One pic is worth a 1,000 words:smokin: "N" case vs True Hi9

As it has been discussed several times, I'm not implying there would be any problems with this design. So, have you inspected your gears for any unusual wear patterns etc.? I'm just curious; how is the pinion tensioner setup working out?

I pulled it this weekend, no wear it's like new. There is no Pinion tensioner it has a ring gear support block that was also in fine shape. I hammered on it too, broke two stock axles with it. It's 31 spline and I am upgrading to 35, larger tires and stronger engine................fawk when will it end?

Thanks for the clarification.

BTW, did your setup come with a pinion scraper to scavenge the oil? Or does the True Hi-9 use a different approach/design?

It will never end.....:flipoff2:

It has an oil catcher that bolts in to the housing and catches the oil off of the ring gear and redistributes it to the pinion.

It also has what is pictured in the bottom 5 photos here: http://www.truehi9.com/oilingsystem2.html

P.S. Thanks Blown for your support. :smokin:
