I went down to this shop I know of in Fresno :D this weekend and did hysteer and a BUDBUILT skidplate install on my runner.We didn't see any probs mounting the box all the way forward,'bout an 8th off the radiator support.I also moved my axle 1.5"forward.Everything is fine,just thought I'd ask if that sounded extreme to you guys or not?(steering box placement)Aside from a one day job turning into two,I love the way everything came out.The skidplate is awesome,just have the brace on now,have to paint the actual plate.These billit arms are a work of art!!!
NOTE TO THOSE WITH MARLIN'S LATEST HYSTEER KIT(THE BILLIT ARMS):We had to shorten the tierod 'bout a half inch on mine to align it and still have some threads left.We got it aligned the first time,but no extra adjustment left over.

Sounds fine, I removed about .5" of the radiator support when I did mine and it took two days also, normal stuff:)

I have those arms, just need to order a tie rod or make one, can you please measure the center to center distance on your tie rod for me?

move the box as far forward as you can and move axle as far as you can it will work fine

It looks to be about 45n a quarter center of endto center of end.The linkitself is maybe 1 1/2 "shorter,sorry so vaugue,it was dark tonite.Corey

I went ahead and ordered one from Sky (the guy Marlin gets his from), I figure he should know the correct length ;)

I agree the arms are nice, for some reason he is changing the design a bit though - kinda curious as to why..

May I ask who the shop was in Fresno?
