I have a pair of brand-new 6" front Chevy springs. $100, and you can have them both.

modify to fit 4" rear lift springs, that will give about 8" in the front

How do you modify the front end to use rear springs, is there a kit out there or is this custom. This is going to be a street truck mostly. Wouldn't that also give a softer ride??

just follow this, http://www.coloradok5.com/52inchspringswap.shtml and substitute the stock rear springs for 4" rear lift springs

if you want to modify your rig for the trails, which is what i think these guys are leading you to, then swap in a set of rear 52" springs. they'll allow a lot more articulation :bounce2: but if you want to set it up for street use & just want to get a feel for a moderate wheeler, swap in some regular 8" springs...skyjacker or superlift, but they'll be a bit on the stiff side & won't articulate anywhere as much as a 52" spring swap...but if you'll have to do relocation of spring hangers & as well as some other stuff but well worth the time & effort. if you're really interested in some quality springs that are a bit longer than stock, send me a pm and i'll give you a link to a good site...& again, it all comes down to what you want & plan to do with your rig...
