But its not right. Look at the nose down attitude due to the incorrect spring rate in the front. The front shocks are 18" travel shocks and are within 2" of bottoming out. whats with this thing "server lost" or whatever it does. Not my fault it posted 5 times when it finally went through.

First off I dont think they are 18 inch travel shocks( they are 10).... second... adjust them...(trust me)

go look through the pics in my build thread... my shocks are a bit leaned back BC I modified mine to have front end stretch, but you get the general area where the collar should be

BTW click "the build" in my sig

So I read around a bit, as it will seem you have a 4.7 in that thing??? well that might just effect your ride height a bit.... oh and BTW dont use RKs recomendations for the coil stop placement... you need it to be alot further down...

as long as your springs arnt messed up, you could probably get them swapped out in the front for some higher weight ones........

A 4.7 as in a stroked 4.0. If Im not mistaken a 4.7 would not weigh any more than a 4.0 would, most likely it would weigh less.

But since they are coilovers I say adjust them and play around with them a little bit.

It's a Hesco 4.7 stoker which is a bored and stroked 4.0 and no weight difference. The Rock Krawler kit did indeed advertise 18" of front travel and 13" of rear travel.
Here are some more photos.

I'm new to coilovers so how exactly do you adjust these to get the proper ride height. can the upper spring stop be shifted down on the shock or something? Looks like the rear is about right if they are 10" travel shocks but the front end needs to come up a bit from looking at "the build". Also looks like I may need to do some fender trimming or replacement if this will flex like yours. here is a link to some of the build picks. I will do a full write up when I get a chance.

I did not need a spanner wrench... If you take all the weight off of the shock you should be able to grip the collar with a golve on your hand and twist it

the front "travel" they advertise must be independent of the actual shock travel. Oh well. I definitely know what to do now having looked at "the build" and noticing the collar position. thanks to all, I will post a full build probablly this weekend.
