Most of us including me have went to the solid axel on our IFS equiped vehicles. The IFS will allways be not so good for flex.I lifted mine twice before I decided to go SAS and love it.Sorry I dont have pics of the old lifted IFS but I do have a couple pics of the new SAS if you want them.

Most don't make extended TTB rad arms. Just look up Rancho, BDS, Tuff Country and you should see what is available.

I think Dick Cepek makes the best extended radius arms, but I don't know if you can still find em. I lifted my 93 F150 with his 6" system about 5 years ago and it worked amazing! I mean it was so flexy you really had to try to get a wheel off the ground or get stuck . I ran 35" ground hawgs with it.

I found a link with a pic of the kit.

Basically just an extension on the end of the RA in place of the stock end. They made them alot stronger though by boxing in everything. I was going to do this when i was considering keeping my ttb. I decided to do an sas, for trails around here i didn't think the ttb could come close to providing me with the performance I want and the ability to grow as my experience behind the wheel grows (i've only been wheelin for a year or two ;) )

Heres my version:

2" DOM .250 wall.

I have a bit less lift, so the tube isn't offset as much.

The threaded end cut off the stock arm I welded into the end of the tube for the bushing.

i think i almost got my gameplan ready. but on zimmermans explorer the one problem they ran into was that after they modified the i-beams, at full droop the slip spline in the middle of the axle shaft went too far and caused damage. is the slip spline on the dana 50 longer than on my dana 44? i have no clue thats all im worried about. yall have been such a big help and inspiration, Thanks

Easy:
Don't hack up your beams like that and you'll have little chance of issues there.
Running stock beams on good STURDY drop pivots is the way to do this unless you'll be skying the thing.

ill say bye now, cuz 2 month down the road when you break something and gotta spend 5k to fix/upgrade it youll toss the truck to someone else.

this is not the sport to go cheap with, or youll be pissing everyone off on the trails when your weak stuff breaks and you hold everyone up. spend some cash and do it right so there will be no fixing

Are these homemade? They look good, but the axle brackets look a little thin.
