It has some ingnition problems, guy says he has put three in and all have gone to hell.. is this common?

says the motor is good, A/T tranny good, t-case good, body stright what else should I look for as far as problems and positives.

We are talking about a Scout?? Stock the 72 has a drum brake dana 30 front end, that is the biggest draw back to the pre 74/75 Scouts. 44's are bolt in however
