OK...So I am getting ready to drop my '96 4.3 into my CJ2A. The discharge on the exhaust manifold drops right into the spot where my master brake cylinder bolts to. I do NOT want to convert to swing pedals....So my question is this: Is there a manifold that dumps out the bottom (center) or has anyone done modifications to the manifold to move around the MBC? I searched the forums and found some guys that had cut the flange off and extended it down, but these were not on CJ2A's (mostly yotas)...Thanks!

Does the stock one rake back?

Astro vans with 4.3:L in them have a driver side manifold that dump straight down at about the middle.. Definitely farther forward then the stock one.

Don't care for them...Just personal preference I guess!

Sanderson makes some shorty headers that will do the trick. I think they are pn#cv95 I think.
