My stock ebrake was a pull handle on the dash near my right knee. with the 4.3 there is no room under the hood for the relay arm the handle connects to. so now i have to come up with another way to actuate the e-brake. I'm sure someone out there has had a similar problem. if so please tell me how you solved it, and what parts you used. thanks.

Floor brake mounted between the seats --- visit the junkyard for almost any japanese car... the only complexity is getting the throw right, and that is just a matter of fiddling with the effective lever length relative to the pivot at each end of the cable...

randii i know you did this on your amigo. how did you set up the cables. what cables and brake lever did you use. i just talked on the phone with dan houlton and got some ideas from his 94 stock setup that i may try.

believe me jess i'd love one, but my problem is more with the handle and cable than with the actual brakes, my calipers have very nice ebrakes built in. you will be gettin a call from me in a couple weeks about some driveshafts tho.
