searched a little and didnt see this any where....will 304 heads bolt to a 401 block..kind of like putting 305 chevy heads on a 350.. bumps the compression...my dist. gears have eaten up and by the looks of things im not the only one...have the chance of picking up a 401 and thought i might ask... thanks

304 heads have the same combustion chamber but smaller valves...you will loose power.

If you end up passing on the 401 let me know because I am looking for one.
