I'm in the process of getting a HP D44 under the front of my TJ, It's an old bronco HP D44, I'll be running the bronco brakes and 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. My rear ia a stock TJ D44 but with superior shafts that are drilled for both patterns. It's drum brakes. I'm thinking I just have to press out the studs and re-install in the 5 on 5.5 pattern then re-drill the drums. Am I missing something? is there any issues with drilling the drums?

Not really you can re-drill the drums. I live relatively close to Moser, so I just take them my rotors or drums that I need re-drilled. I figure there're more likely to get it straight then me.

Thanks Guys,

Ya Blue Angel it's me......I've decided to go with a '78 HP Bronco for the front, Tj width, ARB 4.88 and Mossers.....It's in the works right now the Jeep is on axle stands. I've done the rear with the superior shafts, 4.88 and detroit. Not D60s but what can I say....baby steps.
