Hey, I was wondering if any of you Ford people knew if there was a caliper that bolted in place for the Lincoln Versailles caliper. I need to replace one of my versailles calipers, but I don't use the parking brake set-up, the calipers are rare, and they are expensive. Is there any other caliper that anyone knows about that mounts up in the old Ford rear caliper mounting bracket.
I recall seeing a scout front end once that had calipers that mounted similarly, but it isn't around anymore.
Thanks in advance

It's more of a matter of wanting to get rid of the e-brake stuff in and on the caliper, than it is a matter of price.

80's cj used ford calipers on the front, they might work for you application. or just remove the caliper bracket off the back of the caliper.

I'm running a chevy caliper on the rear of my Ford D60 (from a 78 F250, now on my '95 bronco). I've been thinking of alternatives for an ebrake or line lock, and from research, the caddy rear calipers are able to be swapped for my chevy K20 (no ebrake calipers). The caddy calipers too are expensive, and said to be prone to leakage, but they look just like your Lincoln calipers. I've also heard your calipers will work for my application, so I would say the K20 caliper is the one you should look for as a replacement. Take one of your versailles calipers into Napa and ask to see a caliper from a chevy K20 truck (front of course).
