well I techancly done have a superlift but I do have there 5.5' coil springs in the front and I like them, I havent noticed much sag at all and I have a 150+ pipe bumber on the front and I have beat it some what off road. As for the brakets them selfs they are pretty good, I would segjest using the bump stop relocaters, ya you might loss some flex but you wont crack your pig when you hit it with the braket wich I have heard to happen with Superlift and the ford TTB. Other then that they are a good lift. Good Luck

Try to get ahold of tdavis on this board. after bending brakets radius arms and busting the 35 he put a 44 up front. he had to reinforce a bunch of stuff. DDepending on how hrd you wheelit will depend on how much it will break. Also lower the bumpstops. I have put 2 holes in my 35 from accidently jumping it

Well, I have not had a COMPLETE Superlift kit on mine, but I have tried to use many of their major parts, such as the extended radius arms, a pair of coils and the steering kit they sell. The radius arm broke in less than 8 months and the steering kit was also very poorly designed(WEAK :nuke: ). I had to make considerable reinforcements to both to get them to not fall apart. If you have a welding outfit and some fabricating skill, you can improve the Superlift enough to make it hold up to more than just graded dirt trails.

I have witnessed several other Superlift kits fail, as well. It seems the pivot brackets are another weak spot. Seen the diff get a hole busted in it myself, too.
Skyjacker's kits for these trucks are much better made, overall. Their springs are much flexier, too. Superlift= Superstiff.

The TTB is a decent axle/suspension, particularly on the Ranger, its these dammed cheap lift kits that hold them back.

I've got a Skyjacker Class II on my explorer... I'm much happier that I've bought that instead of Superlift... I've seen tons of explorer guys bend and snap parts.. I've only heard on complaint about skyjacker, but I have none so far

well,,,,,i plan on using 34x10.50s LTBs on stock rims. since there are no rocks in south georgia,,,,i wont be rock crawling it. its my daily driver and sometimes i ride trails with it. if i want to abuse a rig,,,i got a Zuki with a 4.3,,and a Z71 with straight axle and 39.5 boggs. this lift should hold up to light duty,,shouldnt it?

I would think so light duty. Just had a few extra braces for the drop brackets especally the one that lowers the passanger side beam. Also make sure you lower your bump stops so you dont put a hole in the diff.

i've had TERIBBLE LUCK with my superlift I've cracked or broke almost EVERY piece. The springs saged REALLY BAD and my alignment was a royal pain to keep. It pissed me off one tooo many times... Solid Axle swap time.

Im not totally sure, Im gonna get the Fabritech kit, I know its expensive, but they rebiuld the axle and make the conversion much easier. I wont have to weld anything and wont have to fab anything.

Ohh yea with an EB axle it's as if it was designed to be fit in a Ranger the hardest part is the trac bar and steering... which ain't too to bad....... I put Full size and it's not even that bad....
