Not sure if rust is a problem down thier, but here in Canada we see many fuel issues with rusted through suction lines at the tank were mud sits.
Pin holes are a tought one to find, I use compressed air gently and then soap and water the line looking for bubbles.
Is Bubbles on trailor park boys????
Good luck

check valve is tight? I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that, full of debris?
is this all since the primer pump was replaced?
ih8mud.com has a lot of diesel guys on there, you may get more response posting there...
cheers,

no. the check valve below primer appears to be held closed with suction?? this problem was the reason why I replaced the primer pump as it was leaking fuel when used to prime. I thought it was leaking air in as well as fuel out ??? The pump appears to be clean on the inside . I have since changed the main fuel filter with no difference. the filter before the pump is clear. The truck has only done 150000 klms since new. Rust is no problem here in Aus where I live. Too hot and dry for that. Thanks for trying to help Kindest regards HAZARD

good luck with it, I was the guy giving you advice on the mud thread. My guess is still an air leak somewhere..
