coltrain79 10-22-2001, 10:05 PM I've own a toyota for about six years now, and I just bought a sami for $150. I'm planning on building this up for wheeling as well as a daily driver. Would the sumo gears give enough reduction to run 33's with the stock ring and pinion. I hear they are supposed to give about a 24% reduction in high range. Will this be enough for 33's or will I need new ring and pinions? Rudezuk 10-22-2001, 10:23 PM That is more than enough for 33's....you could probably run 35's??? Brings you to 84:1 crawl with stock R&P....that is what i have with grs1 and 5.38's!....and im on 37's...
