I'm trying to talk my brother into putting a proper cage into his YJ... Anyone have pics of rolled jeeps that have crushed or bent the stock cage?

Pics of mine won't help you. Flipped a CJ7 at 60 mph on the freeway. Rollbar held up fine. Walked away from it. I had added plates under the sheetmetal however, so it didn't rip thru.

if the stock base is still solid. i would suggest checking your local welding shop
and have some re-enforcing added. the stock roll bar if in good condition is strong and has proven to hold up in tests and on the trail. if his rig is set up for insane terain, a better cage is a given. to save cash i would just add on
and move on...... justmytwocents:smokin:
