If you dont want it so wide you can get a C&C 14 bolt which I believe is 63'' wms and you can shorten your hp 60 to 65'' wms. I believe 65'' is about as close as you can narrow it before you start having clearance problem with the driveshaft and tranny bellhousing.

I get asked about the dog all the time.

65" wms is right on it.

Not sure of the rims backspacing as they were just some crap 15x8's I had laying around. Pretty standard though....probably around 3.5or 4. I plasma'd out some rings and made them into beadlocks.

Flares are 7" extended flares.

Whole package looked really great. Very balanced. I was really nervous about going full width thinking it would look unproportioned. The 36" Iroks and flares make it look fine IMHO though.

Tires fit into the flares perfectly when flexed.........(insert poser shot here)

Sadly the widened 30 is pretty close in that pic. It's a 30 with wheel spacers (hanging my head in shame) I had a high pinion 44 to match the 9" but didn't get around to putting it in before that season.

The flares were OmixAda flairs. Got them for about $250 from somewhere on the web.

Made them. Used a plasma cutter and built a jig to make perfect circles. Followed by about 2 days at a drill press drilling holes.

Glad you like them. Worked really well. Ran 4psi last season never a problem.

I'm gonna start a thread of the current build and you can check out the new ones I made. Very nice!

I had 2.5" backspacing wheels on my 30 at one time, dont feel bad for yourself, feel bad for the ball joints :(

No kidding. This setup ate the unibearings constantly. Find any info on coilover spring rates yet?

Check out the green one in the gallery. Not a whole TJ but one of the best crawling ones I've seen. Did really well, not to wide but great stability. Kingpin 60 and 14 bolt. http://treesranchoffroad.com/gallery/Album6.htm
