Does anyone know who makes an aftermarket converter for the 904?, it is behind a shortstar and a little loose.

84-86 cherokee w/2.8 v6 I believe it is a 4 bolt converter.

I talked to my local trans guy about the same thing..I'm running close to 400 hp.. He said that a new torque converter should hold up fine.. We cut the old one apart in his shop to see the damage of the 100,000 pluss mile old one in the trans... It looked brand new no heat or bent fins... I feel he was correct in saying the stock ones are fine..

Thats a bastard converter...Chrysler converter with GM pilot and bolt pattern.
